The 58 Gorkha Training Centre (GTC) in Shillong recently held the Kasam Samaroh, a solemn military ceremony marking a significant milestone for the 8th Batch of Agniveers. This event, organized under the Eastern Command, celebrated the successful completion of training for these young recruits who are now officially inducted into the Indian Army.
The parade was meticulously reviewed by Brigadier Joe Sabby, Commandant of the 58 Gorkha Training Centre. During the ceremony, he congratulated the Agniveers for their achievements and welcomed them into the ranks of the Indian Army.
A total of 179 Agniveers took the oath of allegiance to the Constitution of India, signifying their commitment to serve the nation. This ceremony underscored the core values of discipline, patriotism, and unwavering dedication that embody the spirit of the Indian Armed Forces.
