Meet Major Vishavdeep Singh Attri, Saved 2 Boys from Drowning

In the serene landscapes of Nagaland, where the mighty Dhansiri River flows, an ordinary day turned into a moment of life and death for two young children. But in the midst of panic and despair, a hero emerged, reminding us all that a soldier is never truly off duty. It was a typical day along the riverbanks of the Dhansiri, near Dimapur, when a heart-stopping incident unfolded.

Two children, aged around 5 to 6 years, were playing near the water when they were suddenly swept away by the strong river currents. Within moments, they found themselves struggling 30-35 meters deep into the river, beyond their reach and hope. Their terrified cries mingled with the desperate pleas of their mother, who stood helplessly on the shore.
