Retired Lt Col Rajveer Singh Chauhan, the helicopter’s pilot, had a distinguished career spanning over 15 years in the Indian Army, where he gained substantial experience in military aviation. Chauhan, who resided in Shastri Nagar, Jaipur, joined Aryan Aviation Private Ltd as a civilian pilot in October 2024. His military experience included overseeing aerial operations and maintaining various helicopter types, which made him well-suited for the challenging environments typical of hilly terrains.
