Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi recently visited the Bikaner Military Station to evaluate the operational readiness of the formation and to oversee ongoing capability development initiatives within this strategically vital desert sector. This visit included comprehensive briefings focused on various operational matters such as technology infusion, integration with other security agencies, and several nation-building initiatives aligned with the Whole-of-Nation Approach.

During his address to all ranks, including veterans from the Bikaner area, General Dwivedi praised their dedication and unwavering commitment to duty, emphasizing their exemplary coordination in operating under the challenging conditions of desert and semi-desert terrains. He highlighted the critical importance of integrating advanced technologies at all levels to maintain a decisive operational edge, which is essential for ensuring mission readiness in an evolving security environment.
