Lieutenant General R.C. Tiwari, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Eastern Command, recently conducted a thorough assessment of operational readiness and the prevailing security environment at strategic locations, including the forward posts of the Gajraj Corps and the Missamari Military Station.
During his visit to the forward areas, Lt Gen Tiwari engaged with troops stationed in difficult high-altitude terrain, where they face challenging climatic conditions. At Missamari Military Station, the Army Commander extended his review to include the operational preparedness of the Blazing Sword Division. In a significant move, he inaugurated the newly established Gajraj Drone Nursery, a cutting-edge facility designed for the fabrication of indigenous drones. Lt Gen Tiwari encouraged the team to evolve the center into both a Force Multiplier and a Center of Excellence for the Eastern Command, with a focus on fostering technological innovation and enhancing self-reliance in military operations.
