Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Surya Command, recently conducted a visit to forward areas in the Garhwal sector and Joshimath. The primary purpose of this visit was to assess the operational preparedness and readiness of military formations stationed in the region, known for its challenging high-altitude terrain.
