Ayodhya buzzed with pride as 748 Agniveers of the Indian Army marked a significant milestone in their military journey by successfully completing comprehensive training at The Dogra Regimental Centre. The Passing Out Parade (POP), distinguished by precision drills and exemplary military discipline, showcased the transformation of the recruits into dedicated soldiers prepared to serve the nation.

The parade, a grand affair, was presided over by Major General Prince Duggal, the General Officer Commanding of the Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana Sub Area. The event attracted senior military officials, civil dignitaries, and numerous family members, all united in celebration of this notable achievement.

A particularly touching segment of the ceremony included the presentation of the ‘Gaurav Padak’ to the parents of the Agniveers. This accolade acknowledged the essential role that families play in motivating and supporting their children to enlist and serve in the armed forces.

With their rigorous training now behind them, the newly minted Agniveers will be assigned to various units, where they are set to enhance the operational readiness and capabilities of the Indian Army.
