Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of Western Air Command, recently visited Headquarters Southern Air Command, engaging in in-depth operational discussions with Air Marshal Manish Khanna, the AOC-in-C of Southern Air Command.
During their meeting, the two commanders reviewed critical operational insights gleaned from Operation Sindoor, emphasizing the effective utilization of air power, improved inter-command collaboration, and the essential role of Southern Air Command in ensuring maritime vigilance and multi-domain situational awareness throughout the operation.
The discussions also encompassed a thorough evaluation of joint operational readiness and capabilities for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR).
