Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, conducted a significant visit to the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun, emphasizing the Army’s commitment to enhancing officer training and professional military education at this prestigious institution.

During his visit, Lt Gen Sengupta engaged in comprehensive discussions with the training staff, which included senior instructors, company commanders, and faculty members tasked with shaping the future leaders of the Army. He praised their dedication, professionalism, and the high standards they maintain in training the Gentlemen Cadets.

The Army Commander assessed various instructional facilities at the Academy, where he observed demonstrations of drill exercises, physical training programs, tactical training setups, and modern simulation-based learning tools designed to boost operational readiness.
