Surg eon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, the Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), recently conducted an official visit to the Army Hospital (Research & Referral) as part of an initiative to review the operational preparedness and healthcare delivery systems at the facility.
During her visit, Vice Admiral Sarin evaluated a range of clinical and administrative facilities. She received a comprehensive briefing on the hospital’s critical role as a premier tertiary care center within the Armed Forces Medical Services. Emphasizing the hospital’s patient-centric approach, she took note of the digitally enabled healthcare processes in place, which enhance the facility’s capacity to provide timely and effective medical services to service members and their families.
Sarin offered praise for the instrumental role Army Hospital (R&R) plays in delivering advanced medical care. She commended the dedicated efforts of Team AHRR, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.
