In a somber ceremony, the Chinar Corps honored the memory of Subedar Hira Lal, who bravely sacrificed his life while serving on operational duty in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. His dedication and commitment to the nation were commemorated by high-ranking military officials and fellow troops.
The General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Northern Command led the tribute by laying a wreath at BB Cantt. This act of remembrance was attended by senior officers and soldiers, all paying their respects to the valor and selflessness displayed by Subedar Hira Lal during his service.
The Chinar Warriors expressed their deep respect for the late Subedar’s courage, emphasizing that his sacrifice will continue to serve as an inspiration for all members of the armed forces. The Indian Army made it clear that it stands unwaveringly with the grieving family of the fallen soldier, pledging to support them during this challenging time.
