Lieutenant Obed Thangminsiam hails from Hiangzou village in Churachandpur district, Manipur, and was commissioned into the esteemed 10 Guards on March 7, 2026. He completed his pre-commission training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai, known for its rigorous training programs that prepare officers for a distinguished career in the Indian Army.
