On March 14, 2026, the Mantripukhri Battalion of the Assam Rifles held a heartfelt felicitation ceremony to honor Lieutenant Wikhamlubou Pamei, a young officer who was recently commissioned into the Indian Army from the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai.
