The Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) has once again demonstrated its academic prowess by clinching the top position in the UPSC NDA Examination, marking an impressive All India Rank 1 for the May 2026 cycle.
In a statement shared with SSBCrack, Commandant Colonel Rahul Agarwal expressed his pride in the institution’s ongoing excellence, noting that RIMC has maintained an unprecedented record over the last five semesters, from May 2024 to May 2026. During this remarkable period, RIMC cadets have achieved four All India Rank 1 positions, including a remarkable streak with three consecutive AIR-1 placements, alongside another achievement of All India Rank 2. This exceptional performance illustrates the high standards upheld by the institution.
The streak of success commenced with Anmol, who secured AIR 1 in May 2024. In May 2025, Imon Ghosh followed suit by achieving the same rank. This momentum was further propelled as Vaibhav Kumar earned AIR 1 in November 2025, culminating with Parth Kumar Tiwari capturing AIR 1 in the recent examination of May 2026. Such achievements in the intensely competitive NDA examination underscore RIMC’s robust academic framework and disciplined training regimen.
Col Rahul Agarwal credited this outstanding success to the unwavering dedication of the cadets, the commitment of the faculty and mentors, and the ongoing support from the Army Training Command. He highlighted that the nurturing atmosphere fostered by the institution, together with the backing of the Indian Army’s training framework, has played a crucial role in these exceptional results.
This latest achievement not only consolidates RIMC’s reputation as one of India’s leading military preparatory academies but also reflects its commitment to producing individuals who excel in the NDA examination and are prepared to serve the nation as future leaders in the armed forces.
