Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi received a ceremonial Guard of Honour at Fort Shafter, Hawaii, as part of his ongoing visit to the United States Army Pacific. During the visit, General Dwivedi held high-level discussions with General Ronald P. Clark, the Commanding General of US Army Pacific, along with other senior military leaders. The talks emphasized key areas of focus, including the enhancement of India–US defence cooperation, strengthening military-to-military engagement, and promoting a shared vision for peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific.
An aerial tour of Oahu Island was also part of General Dwivedi’s itinerary, providing him with insights into the training infrastructure, multi-domain operational readiness, and advanced military capabilities of the US Army.
