Lieutenant General P K Mishra, the General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, recently visited the Gambhir Mughlan area to assess the progress of Operation Sheruwali and evaluate the current operational situation on the ground. Joined by the GOC of the Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo), the visit aimed to reinforce the strategic initiatives in the region.
During the assessment, Lt Gen Mishra received a comprehensive briefing on the operation’s overarching design, as well as the ongoing actions and sustainment measures being implemented in the challenging terrain of Jammu and Kashmir. Particular attention was given to the logistics framework that supports the troops actively engaged in hinterland operations, showcasing the meticulous planning behind their efforts.
The operational briefing encompassed several critical aspects, including force deployment and the support mechanisms necessary to ensure the mission’s effectiveness. Lt Gen Mishra took the opportunity to commend the troops for their resilience and professionalism, praising their meticulous execution of tasks under strenuous conditions.
