Harbinger Praesidia Launches Advanced Hybrid-Electric Unmanned Ground Vehicle

US-based Harbinger Praesidia is advancing its commitment to unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) technology with the introduction of a new hybrid-electric platform designed for operation in challenging environments. This innovative vehicle is capable of delivering up to 350 kilowatts of external power, making it an essential tool for situations where traditional power sources may be limited or inaccessible.

The UGV is versatile, featuring three distinct wheelbase configurations: 158 inches (401 centimeters), 178 inches (452 centimeters), and 208 inches (528 centimeters). This adaptability is intended to meet different operational needs and terrain challenges, allowing for enhanced maneuverability.

In terms of performance, the newly introduced UGV boasts a maximum speed of 65 miles per hour (105 kilometers per hour). It demonstrates significant operational range—with a capability of up to 500 miles (805 kilometers) in hybrid mode and an impressive 105 miles (169 kilometers) when operating solely on electric power. This dual-mode functionality enables greater flexibility in deployment, addressing various mission requirements effectively.

Harbinger Praesidia is positioning itself at the forefront of UGV technology with this latest development, signaling a commitment to enhancing operational capabilities in areas where unmanned vehicles can play a critical role. The hybrid platform represents a significant step forward in the potential applications of UGVs, particularly in complex environments that demand reliable power and mobility.
