During a recent visit to Tezpur, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi celebrated the remarkable achievements of four distinguished veterans, presenting them with the prestigious Veteran Achievers Award. This accolade recognizes their commendable contributions to veteran welfare, social development, entrepreneurship, and nation-building efforts.
The recipients of the awards, Colonel Dibya Shankar Bhattacharya, Havildar Bhabi Ram Boro, Honorary Naib Subedar Mohan Kumar Jaishi, and Naik Sengcho Yame, have had a profound impact on their communities and beyond, sustaining their commitment to service even after retiring from active military duty.
