The Additional Director General (ADG) of the NCC Directorate for West Bengal and Sikkim recently engaged with over 250 NCC cadets, Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), and Principals at Krishnanagar Government College, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to developing future leaders and responsible citizens.

During his visit, the ADG emphasized the values of discipline, leadership, integrity, and selfless service—core tenets that the NCC encourages its members to embody. He called upon the cadets to live out the NCC motto of “Unity and Discipline” in both their personal and professional lives. His message urged these young individuals to actively participate in nation-building and strive to be agents of positive change within their communities.

As part of the event, the ADG recognized outstanding cadets and ANOs for their exceptional achievements, acknowledging their dedication and contributions to the NCC movement. This gesture underscored the importance of recognizing hard work and commitment in fostering excellence among the youth.

Following the interaction at Krishnanagar, the ADG proceeded to the 14 Bengal Battalion NCC in Muragacha, under the Kalyani Group. There, he reviewed ongoing training and administrative initiatives, engaging with members of the NCC to assess various programs aimed at enhancing the training experience for cadets and improving overall organizational effectiveness.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to evaluate the battalion’s efforts in cultivating leadership qualities, character development, and social responsibility among its cadets. The ADG commended the professionalism and dedication shown by staff and instructors in their mission to prepare the next generation of youth leaders.

Officials commented that this visit served to reinforce the NCC’s critical role in shaping confident and socially aware young citizens devoted to national service. It also highlighted the organization’s enduring emphasis on instilling principles of discipline, patriotism, and a spirit of service among India’s youth.

The program concluded with a reaffirmation of the NCC’s mission to promote national integration, leadership, and community service. This commitment aims to equip cadets to make meaningful contributions to the country’s progress and development.

Overall, the visit inspired both cadets and NCC personnel, reiterating the organization’s position as one of the foremost institutions dedicated to youth development and nation-building in India.
