The College of Defence Management (CDM) has celebrated the promotion of Colonel DPLT Kaluaggala of the Sri Lanka Army to the esteemed rank of Brigadier. This achievement not only signifies a personal milestone in Kaluaggala’s illustrious military career but also underscores the collaborative spirit in defence education and leadership development between India and Sri Lanka.
Brigadier Kaluaggala is currently an international participant in the Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC)-22 at CDM, which exemplifies the institution’s commitment to enhancing military education and fostering defence cooperation with allied nations.
In adherence to military customs, Air Vice Marshal G.K.J. Reddy, the Commandant of the College of Defence Management, officiated the ceremony where the new rank insignia was pinned on Brigadier Kaluaggala.
