The strategy to attempt 50 questions is totally a failure pls guys do not follow. I got many suggestions regarding this strategy and also followed this but always failed with 1 or 2 Marks. Don’t think that I have attempted only 50. One thing that the cutoff of AFCAT is not stable it can jump to 165 so push yourself above 170. Always go for 60-65 correct attempt.
At the end do not follow anyone strategy follow and make your own strategy. This the armed force want.

Nothing official is ever mentioned as sectioned wise cut off marks, its the total marks scored which is considered for cut off.

fetching just 150 marks wont put you in merit list i guess .
Can’t say that, merit list is more based on your AFSB interview marks, yes it is always good to get as many as marks you can in AFCAT. But there are candidates who have made into merit list with less marks in AFCAT.
