Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

  • Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
  • Minimum 50% marks in English in either Class 10 or Class 12.
  • Appeared for JEE (Main) 2026 examination.

The shortlisting of candidates for the SSB interview will be based on JEE (Main) All India Rank.


Age Limit

Candidates should be born between:

  • 02 July 2007 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive).

Selection Process

The selection process includes the following stages:

  1. Shortlisting based on JEE (Main) 2026 Rank
  2. SSB Interview
  3. Medical Examination
  4. Final Merit List

Only shortlisted candidates will receive SSB interview call letters through email or the official website.


Training and Education

Selected candidates will undergo:

  • A four-year B.Tech course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.
  • Candidates will receive B.Tech degrees after successful completion of training.
  • The entire cost of training, books, uniforms, and accommodation will be borne by the Indian Navy.
