In a commendable initiative to mark National CPR Day, the Department of Pediatrics at Command Hospital (Eastern Command) joined forces with the West Bengal Academy of Pediatrics (IAP–ALS BLS Chapter) to host a significant Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) awareness drive. The event aimed to enhance community preparedness and promote essential life-saving skills in emergency situations.
More than 150 individuals participated in this comprehensive training program, which included interactive workshops and hands-on demonstrations. The objective was to equip attendees with the knowledge and confidence necessary to act promptly in medical emergencies where immediate intervention can prove crucial.
The training encompassed a wide array of Basic Life Support (BLS) techniques, such as Adult CPR, Pediatric CPR, Infant Basic Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation.
