In a momentous event, the 8 J&K Girls Battalion NCC celebrated the promotion of six Caretaker Officers (CTOs) to the esteemed position of Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) during a pipping ceremony on April 20. This significant achievement underscores the dedication and commitment of these individuals to their roles within the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
Among the promotions, Dr. Seema Kumari ascended to the rank of Lieutenant, while Rhythm Bhardwaj, Sharuti Sharma, Arju Sharma, Sarita Mathur, and Bhanu Priya were elevated to the rank of Second Officer (S/O).
The ceremony was held under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of the battalion, who personally adorned the newly promoted officers with their ranks. The event saw a gathering of family members, who beamed with pride as their loved ones took this pivotal step in their military journey.
In his address to the newly promoted officers, the Commanding Officer emphasized the significance of their promotions, highlighting that such advancements come with increased responsibilities and heightened leadership expectations.
