The Special List Officers Law Course concluded on May 5, 2026, at the Institute of Military Law, marking the successful culmination of a focused four-week legal training program tailored for Record Officers of the Indian Army. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance the legal capabilities of military personnel, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle various administrative and service-related matters.
The course was meticulously designed to provide officers with essential legal knowledge and practical insights pertinent to their roles, with a particular emphasis on military law and personnel records management. By doing so, the program aims to bolster their competence in navigating the complexities of military legal frameworks and facilitate effective personnel management.
Lieutenant General Rajeev Puri, AVSM, VSM, Director General of Manpower Planning & Personnel Services, presided over the closing ceremony, recognizing the hard work and dedication demonstrated by the participating officers. During this event, Captain Dharam Raj Narware from BEG Records (Roorkee) was honored for securing the top position in the order of merit. His exemplary performance earned him the prestigious GOC-in-C, ARTRAC Running Trophy, celebrating his outstanding achievements during the course.
