In a grand display of pride and heritage, the 207 Field Regiment, a distinguished unit of the Pine Division, celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of unwavering service to the nation. The Regiment, which originated in the lush tea gardens of Hatigarh, now operates from its current base in Chandimandir, exemplifying the Indian Army’s artillery capabilities and spirit.
The Golden Jubilee festivities featured a gathering of both veterans and serving personnel, who came together to honor the legacy of the many gunners who have exemplified professionalism and precision over the years. The atmosphere was charged with a deep sense of duty and commitment, encapsulated by the Regiment’s motto, “Ready, Ever Ready.”
In a significant gesture to recognize this milestone, Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding of Kharga Corps, along with Lieutenant General Puneet Ahuja, SM, VSM, Chief of Staff of Western Command, presented Silver Salvers to the Regiment.
