In a remarkable showcase of discipline and professional excellence, 340 trainees from the Agniveer (ME)-01/25 Batch, which includes members from the Indian Coast Guard and personnel from Friendly Foreign Nations, have successfully completed their professional Marine Engineering training at INS Shivaji.

The culmination of this rigorous training program was celebrated with a grand Passing Out Parade, symbolizing the transformation of these young recruits into technically proficient and operationally prepared Sea Warriors of the Indian Navy.

Training at INS Shivaji was a comprehensive blend of intense academic instruction, hands-on technical training, and core naval values. This combination equipped the Agniveers with the engineering competence and professional ethos necessary to operate and maintain complex marine propulsion systems while at sea. As a result, the graduates emerged from the program confident, capable, and ready to tackle challenges across various maritime environments.

The parade was reviewed by Commodore S Parthiba, the Commanding Officer of INS Shivaji. He praised the trainees for their discipline, resilience, and unyielding determination exhibited throughout the course.

In recognition of their exceptional performance, several meritorious Agniveers were honored with awards during the ceremony. These accolades were given for outstanding achievements in academics, technical proficiency, and overall conduct during the training period, acknowledging their dedication and commitment to naval service.

The successful completion of the ME-01/25 course not only reinforces INS Shivaji’s stature as the leading marine engineering training establishment within the Indian Navy but also underscores the increasing international cooperation and professional integration fostered by the Agniveer scheme.
