In a significant morale-boosting visit, General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), recently toured the forward positions of the Indian Army’s Konark Corps in the desert sector, commending troops for their outstanding performance during Operation SINDOOR. This operation, which extended from Jaisalmer to Kutch, showcased India’s robust defensive preparedness and its joint operational capability along the western frontier.
Operation SINDOOR was a well-coordinated endeavor involving the Indian Army, Indian Air Force (IAF), and Border Security Force (BSF). It involved the rapid deployment of surveillance and air defense assets, alongside the strategic positioning of weapon systems.
