15 Sample SRT Situations With Responses For SSB Interview
She was going to attend the SSB interview. On reaching the Railway Station she noticed that her suitcase had been stolen with her original certificates needed at SSB. She immediately filed a complaint with the railway police, obtained a copy of the FIR, contacted home to get scanned copies or couriered documents, and informed the SSB board in advance with proof of her situation to seek assistance.
She found that she was being given stepmotherly treatment by her seniors. She maintained her composure, continued to respect her seniors, worked diligently, and proved her worth through actions and professionalism, thereby earning their respect over time without confrontation.
She had to undergo an urgent surgical operation but there was no one to look after her. She informed close friends or neighbors about her situation, admitted herself with hospital assistance, and arranged for temporary help until someone from her family could come. She faced the situation bravely and took necessary medical care.
She and her friends are required to go to the other side of the bridge but the bridge got damaged. She assessed the safety of the surrounding area, looked for alternative safe routes or contacted locals for help, and ensured the group moved together while maintaining communication and caution.
She heard the shouts for help and found a small boy being carried away into the water current. She immediately jumped in with a safe strategy or used a rope/log to reach the boy. If not, she shouted for help, called rescue services, and tried to throw a floatation aid while keeping the boy in sight.
She opened her packet of food and a female beggar with a small baby wanted a share of the food. She shared her food willingly and, if possible, guided the woman to a nearby shelter or NGO that could provide assistance. She showed empathy and compassion.
Her friend came to her frequently and demanded money on some pretext. She had an honest conversation with her friend, made it clear that money cannot be given irresponsibly, and instead helped find a solution to the friend’s actual needs, showing maturity and rational judgment.
