Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd (BCSSL), a prominent technology firm based in Hyderabad, has welcomed Lieutenant General Anil Bhalla (Retd), PVSM, AVSM, VSM, to its Advisory Board to bolster its efforts in defence and cybersecurity. This strategic appointment reflects BCSSL’s commitment to enhance its expertise in national security innovation and enterprise transformation.
Lieutenant General Bhalla boasts an impressive 39-year career in the Indian Army, where he held significant positions, including Director General of the Defence Intelligence Agency and Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Intelligence). His extensive background includes advising top government officials such as the Raksha Mantri (Minister of Defence) and the National Security Advisor on critical strategic and intelligence issues. Throughout his service, he was instrumental in shaping India’s defence policies, managing substantial resources, and promoting defence collaboration with over 20 countries.
As a strategic advisor for BCSSL, Lt Gen Bhalla is set to direct the company’s projects related to secure communications, defence innovation, cybersecurity frameworks, blockchain integration, and strategic risk analysis. Additionally, he will mentor senior leadership and innovation teams, ensuring that BCSSL’s technological advancements are in alignment with both national and international defence goals.
This appointment arrives at a time when BCSSL is enjoying robust financial success. In the fourth quarter of FY25, the company reported net sales of ₹183.62 crore, with a remarkable 52% increase in net profit, reaching ₹13.04 crore compared to the same period last year. For the entire financial year, BCSSL saw net sales soar by 59% to ₹796.86 crore, while net profit surged by 175% to ₹44.27 crore. The company’s shares, which experienced a 2:1 stock split in January 2025, have yielded impressive returns, climbing 119% from their 52-week low of ₹14.95 and bringing its market capitalization to ₹1,427 crore.
With operations across eight countries, including India, the UK, USA, UAE, Israel, France, Singapore, and Tanzania, BCSSL specializes in AIoT-based solutions spanning defence, healthcare, national infrastructure, and digital transformation. The addition of Lt Gen Bhalla to the advisory board is expected to significantly elevate the company’s strategic capabilities in the fast-evolving sectors of cybersecurity and defence technology.
