In a recent visit to the forward locations in the Poonch Sector, Lt Gen P K Mishra, General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, assessed the current security landscape and the operational readiness of troops stationed along the Line of Control. Accompanied by the General Officer Commanding of the Ace of Spades Division, the visit aimed to evaluate the prevailing conditions and reinforce the importance of preparedness in the region.
During the inspection, Lt Gen Mishra engaged directly with soldiers on the ground, reviewing critical aspects such as surveillance effectiveness and defensive strategies. He praised the troops for their exceptional professionalism and vigilance, highlighting their dedication to maintaining high standards despite the challenges posed by the rugged terrain and unpredictable weather.
The General Officer emphasized the need for all personnel to remain alert and adopt a robust offensive stance to deter potential incursions across the border.
