Svitlana Grynchuk disclosed on social media that these attacks have intensified in recent months, which have primarily targeted natural gas facilities essential for heating amid the approaching winter season.
Authorities are warning that the ongoing assaults pose a considerable risk of heating outages, prompting the implementation of emergency power cuts in various areas. While the exact locations of these outages were not provided, Grynchuk assured that these measures would be lifted once the energy system stabilizes.
Despite the adversarial actions, Grynchuk expressed confidence, stating, “Despite the enemy’s plans, Ukraine will have light and heat this winter.” This assertion underscores the resolve of Ukrainian officials to maintain essential services amidst the heightened threat.
