Serbia’s defense contractor Yugoimport has announced the development of the Gavran 145 (Raven 145), a cutting-edge loitering munition designed for precision strikes against armored targets. This new addition aims to enhance Serbia’s long-range strike capabilities, reflecting the increasing demand for advanced military technology.
The Gavran 145 is compact, measuring 2.2 meters (7.2 feet) in length and featuring a wingspan of 2.4 meters (7.9 feet). Its small size facilitates easier movement and rapid deployment in various operational environments. This design choice underscores the importance of mobility in modern warfare, allowing armed forces to quickly adapt to changing battlefield conditions.
One of the notable features of the Gavran 145 is its versatile payload capacity. Equipped to carry up to 15 kilograms (33 pounds), the munition is compatible with multiple propulsion systems, including electric, gasoline, and turbo-jet engines. This flexibility allows military operators to tailor the vehicle’s performance to specific mission requirements, whether it involves stealthy reconnaissance or direct engagement with enemy armor.
