On December 16, 2025, the Indian Air Force’s Training Command (HQTC) commemorated Vijay Diwas, a significant occasion marking India’s decisive triumph in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The day was observed with a solemn wreath-laying ceremony held at the Training Command War Memorial, honoring the courageous warriors of the Indian Armed Forces whose sacrifices were pivotal in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty and facilitating the emergence of Bangladesh.

Air Marshal Tejinder Singh, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Training Command, spearheaded the ceremony. He was joined by officers from the Indian Army and Indian Navy, as well as senior officials from the Training Command. The event drew participation from veterans of all three services, who collectively paid respect to the martyrs who fought valiantly for the nation.
