In a momentous Passing Out Parade ceremony, the Director General of the Border Security Force, Shri Praveen Kumar, IPS, presented prestigious awards and the esteemed Sword of Honour to the top-performing officers from the latest batch of recruits. This event served as a platform to celebrate exceptional merit and leadership within the newly commissioned officers.
Shri Sunil Kumar, Assistant Commandant, was distinguished with the coveted Sword of Honour for being the standout officer of the batch. His accomplishment stems from his superior performance in various key areas including physical fitness tests, written examinations, firing proficiency, and outdoor exercises. The Sword of Honour is emblematic of values such as dedication, discipline, professional excellence, and leadershipโprinciples that resonate deeply with the core ethos of the Border Security Force.
In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Shri Sunil Kumar also received the A S Aulakh Medal and a Running Trophy, affirming his status as the All Round Best Trainee of the batch. His exemplary performance across all training parameters sets a high benchmark for his peers, illustrating a commitment to excellence.
Additionally, the Directorโs Baton was awarded to Shri Dheeraj Singh Madnawat, Assistant Commandant, for his exceptional leadership during the Passing Out Parade.
