Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Command, conducted a visit to the Mahar Regimental Centre in Sagar, where he was presented with a comprehensive briefing on the centreโs core training programs and ongoing infrastructure enhancements. These improvements are focused on delivering rigorous and contemporary military training specifically designed for Agniveers.
During his visit, Lt Gen Seth evaluated advanced training facilities as well as modern instructional systems aimed at equipping soldiers with the skills needed to navigate the complexities of modern warfare. He expressed his admiration for the centreโs commitment to maintaining high training standards and effectively integrating technological advancements into its educational framework.
Moreover, Lt Gen Seth engaged with Agniveers participating in the Advanced Drone Training capsule, giving particular praise to their increasing proficiency in drone operations, complemented by their strong foundational soldiering skills. He highlighted the significance of blending emerging technologies with traditional military values, emphasizing this approach as essential to cultivating a tech-enabled and future-ready armed force.
