Major General Bharat Mehtani, the Additional Director General of the PHHP&C Directorate, made an impactful visit to the NCC Group Headquarters in Chandigarh on April 8, 2026, aiming to assess the training standards and engage directly with the cadets.
The day began with a formal Guard of Honour, followed by a poignant wreath-laying ceremony dedicated to Captain Vikram Batra, a celebrated former NCC cadet and hero of the Kargil War. During the visit, Major General Mehtani was introduced to the commanding officers and received an in-depth briefing on the operational functions and various initiatives being implemented at the NCC Group Headquarters.
