Aeva, a California-based sensor development company, has unveiled its latest innovation, the Omni. This cutting-edge, short-range 4D Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) system is designed to enhance the capabilities of physical artificial intelligence (AI) systems, providing them with a more comprehensive and clearer perspective of their surroundings.

To facilitate the manufacturing and deployment of the Omni system, Aeva has partnered with LG Innotek, a South Korean electronics firm.
