Air Marshal B Manikantan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, conducted a two-day visit to Air Force Station Agra from May 2 to May 3, 2026. The primary purpose of this visit was to evaluate the operational readiness and ongoing infrastructure development at the strategic airbase.
During his assessment, Air Marshal Manikantan focused on several critical operational aspects and scrutinized various ongoing development projects. A significant milestone achieved during this visit was the inauguration of the newly commissioned Water Supply Enhancement Project. This initiative aims to ensure a continuous and adequate water supply to meet the station’s increasing demands.
The successful implementation of this project was made possible through collaborative efforts involving Headquarters Central Air Command, the Municipal Commissioner of Agra, Jal Sansthan Agra, and the Military Engineering Services. This collaboration exemplifies the strong partnership between civil authorities and military agencies in enhancing infrastructure.
