Girl Cadets Seeing Cadets

The Airawat Division recently held an operational orientation-cum-career counselling session aimed at NCC girl cadets from Ambala and Rohtak, providing them with an invaluable insight into the modern capabilities of the Indian Army and various career opportunities available within its ranks.

During the session, the cadets were introduced to cutting-edge Air Defence systems. The event featured demonstrations of advanced equipment and technologies, particularly spotlighting Operation Sindoor, which showcased the Army’s high-level operational readiness and air defence capabilities. This exposure not only informed the cadets about the technical aspects of modern defence but also underscored the importance of these systems in national security.

Officers from the Airawat Division engaged the cadets in discussions about the diverse pathways available for joining the Indian Armed Forces, which include opportunities in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The informative and interactive session aimed to inspire young women to consider a career in uniform, emphasizing various roles that encompass both technical and leadership positions.

The initiative saw enthusiastic participation from the cadets, many of whom expressed renewed motivation to serve the nation after the informative engagement. This program highlights the Army’s ongoing commitment to outreach among youth, particularly in encouraging greater involvement of women in the defence sector.

As the Indian Army continues to foster interest in military careers among young women, such initiatives not only aim to equip them with knowledge but also to inspire a new generation to take on roles that contribute significantly to national security.
