Lt Gen RC Tiwari Reviews Operational Preparedness Along Northern Borders

Lt Gen RC Tiwari, the Army Commander of the Eastern Command, recently conducted a thorough inspection of the forward areas within Spear Corps to assess the operational readiness along the Northern Borders. This strategic visit included an extensive briefing on the current operational posture, internal security dynamics, and a joint integrated training exercise being carried out with the Indian Air Force and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police.

During the exercise, which was conducted in high-altitude terrain, the combined forces showcased their enhanced synergy through coordinated air-ground responses, improved surveillance capabilities, and technologically advanced border management strategies. The drill underscored the effectiveness of joint operations in addressing the complexities of modern military engagements.

In discussions with field commanders and troops, Lt Gen Tiwari expressed his admiration for the professionalism, dedication, and technical expertise displayed by all ranks of Spear Corps. He recognized their sustained operational excellence and commitment to safeguarding the nation’s borders, particularly in the face of challenging environmental conditions. The Army Commander underscored the necessity for continued vigilance, increased joint training initiatives, and the effective incorporation of emerging technologies to counter evolving threats along the Northern Borders.

In addition to his operational review, Lt Gen Tiwari launched a new YouTube channel named ‘Siyom Tales’. This initiative is designed to celebrate the rich culture, traditions, and patriotic spirit of the people of Arunachal Pradesh. The channel aims to build stronger ties between the Indian Army and local communities by showcasing stories that reflect societal values, heritage, and a collective commitment to national unity.

The visit served to reaffirm the Eastern Command’s dedication to maintaining a high level of readiness to address any potential challenges, while also emphasizing the importance of nurturing harmony and trust with the local populace in Arunachal Pradesh.
