In a significant move to bolster operational capabilities, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, the Army Commander of Northern Command, recently conducted a visit to the Joint Control Centre in Rampur, accompanied by key military leaders including the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Rising Star Corps and the GOC of the White Knight Corps.
The primary focus of the visit was a thorough review of troop preparedness in the Bani–Macchedi Sector. Lt Gen Sharma engaged in an in-depth analysis of various operational aspects, including the readiness of forces, existing coordination mechanisms among units, and response protocols tailored to the current operational climate.
Discussions during the visit emphasized enhancing inter-command synergy, a critical factor for successful joint operations. The Army Commander underscored the necessity of seamless collaboration among various formations, advocating for an integrated approach to ensure operational dominance across the region.
