Bharat Electronics Secures Rs 572 Crore in Fresh Defence Orders

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a prominent player in India’s defense sector, has recently announced the acquisition of new defense orders totaling ₹572 crore since its last update on April 7, 2025. These contracts encompass a wide array of advanced military equipment and systems, significantly bolstering India’s defense capabilities.

Among the newly acquired orders are critical systems such as the Integrated Drone Detection and Interdiction System (IDDIS), Software Defined Radio (SDR), and Data Communication Units (DCU) designed for attack guns. Additionally, BEL has secured contracts for the delivery of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based solutions for naval platforms, simulators, advanced communication equipment, and electronic jammers, alongside essential spare parts and associated services.
