AGE Limit for CDS II 2016 Application
- CDS II 2016 Exam Age Limit For IMA : Male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 1993 and not later than 1st July 1998 only are eligible.
- CDS II 2016 Exam Age Limit For OTA : Male candidates (married or unmarried) born not earlier than 2nd July , 1992 and not later than 1st July , 1998 only are eligible. Unmarried Women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd July , 1992 and not later than 1st July , 1998
- CDS II 2016 Exam Age Limit For AFA : 20 to 24 Years as on 1st July , 2017 i.e. born not earlier than 02 July , 1993 and not later than 01 July , 1997 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 Yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 02 July , 1991 and not later than 01 July 1997) only are eligible. Note : Candidate below 25 years of age must be unmarried. Marriage is not permitted during training. Married candidates above 25 years of age are eligible to apply but during training period they will neither be provided married accommodation nor can they live out with family.
- CDS II 2016 Exam Age Limit For NA : Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July , 1993 and not later than 1st July , 1998 only are eligible.
CDS 2 2016 Exam Eligibility Educational Qualification:
- IMA : The aspirants should possess graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute.
- OTA: The aspirants should possess graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute.
- For INA: The aspirants must have a degree in Engineering.
- For Air Force Academy: The aspirants should have passed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics and having a degree from a recognized university or bachelor’s degree in engineering / technology.
CDS Exam Pattern for Officer’s Training Academy:
English: The candidates must have good knowledge of English to pass this test. Maximum marks of this paper is 100 and the time duration is 2 hours.
General Knowledge: The applicants should be concerned about the current events and matters are of common observations. The all other necessary information should be known by them. This paper is of 200 marks and the time duration is 2 hours.
CDS Exam Pattern for OTA is enough to provide a precise idea to get good marks in the examination.
“Are girls eligible for this Exam?”- CDS Exam Pattern for Girls
Yes, girls can apply for this examination and they are similar to boys. There is no specific criterion for girls. They just need to get good marks to clear the cut off. Girls can only apply for OTA. These girl aspirants should be unmarried. The issue less widow and divorcee who have not re-married can apply for the vacancies.
Interview:
The Union Public Service Commission will announce a list of qualified candidates to call them for interview.
The short listed aspirants will appear for SSB interview which test their intelligence and personality.
The qualified candidates will be called based on the merit list for joining the academy as per their performances.
