Educational Qualification For AFCAT 2 2017 Entry
- Flying: Graduates (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized University who have attained minimum 60% marks or equivalent and have passed Maths & Physics at 10+2 level or BE / B Tech degree (Four year course) or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute
Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks or
equivalent. - Ground Duty (Technical)

- Administration: Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
- Logistics: Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of
Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks
or equivalent. - Accounts: B. Com. degree (Minimum three year degree course) from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
- Education: MBA / MCA or MA / M Sc degree in English / Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Statistics / International relations / International studies / Defence studies / Psychology / Computer Science / IT /Management / Mass Communication / Journalism / Public Relation with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate all paper put together in Post Graduation (Minimum two year programme) and 60% marks in graduation (both recognised by UGC / Competent Accreditation Authority).
Age Limit For AFCAT 2 2017 Entry
- Flying: 20 to 24 years. Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years.
- Others: 20 to 26 years
Height And Weight Requirement For AFCAT 2 2017 Entry
Flying: Minimum 162.5 cms, Leg Length: Min – 99 cms, Max – 120 cms. Thigh Length : Max – 64 cms, Sitting Height : Min – 81.5 cms. Max – 96 cms. Proportionate to the height and age.
Ground Duty (Tech and Non-tech): The minimum acceptable height for male candidates is 157.5 cms. For women candidates minimum acceptable height is 152 cms.(For Gorkhasand individual belonging to hills of North-Eastern region of India, Garhwali and Kumaon, the minimum acceptable height will be 5 cms less. In case of candidates from
Lakshadweep, the minimum acceptable height will be by 2 cms less. Applicable to men and women). Proportionate to the height and age.
