Conti Federal has reached a significant agreement valued at $990 million to modernize infrastructure for the US Navy across the Pacific region. This extensive project aims to incorporate a variety of services, including the development of new facilities, renovations, repairs, and upgrades. These efforts align with the Navy’s Pacific Deterrence Initiative as well as other programs related to Exercise Related Construction, Unspecified Minor Military Construction, and Security Cooperation.
The Florida-based company is set to undertake multiple critical tasks as part of this contract. These tasks include airfield paving, waterfront construction, and various enhancements to military bases. The scope of work is extensive, extending across numerous locations in the Pacific, including the Australian Northern Territory, the Caroline Islands, the Maldives, Fiji, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
Conti Federal’s efforts will be conducted in collaboration with the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), ensuring that the projects meet the necessary standards and specifications required for military operations. Jason Roberts, the Regional Business Development Director for Conti Federal in the Pacific, emphasized the significance of this contract in reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting NAVFAC’s global mission. “We’re proud to bring our proven capabilities to get the job Done Once, Done Right and agile teams to deliver critical infrastructure across the region with excellence and reliability,” he stated.
In addition to this substantial contract, Conti Federal’s recent endeavors in the Pacific include a separate agreement to renovate a US Marine Corps camp in Okinawa, Japan. The company has also played a role in repairing a fuel system at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, an essential facility that supports US Air and Space Force teams, as well as allied military units stationed in the region. Through these initiatives, Conti Federal continues to demonstrate its significant presence and commitment to enhancing military infrastructure across the Indo-Pacific area.
