While someone who is dreaming to join the Air Force has dreamt of flying an aircraft. While its a long process and a long journey, starting from taking the written exam, then SSB Interview, medicals, and finally Merit. In this long journey, if one cannot wait to fly an aircraft, it is not his mistake. But until you get to the Academy, you can take some time out of your daily schedule and play some simulator games so that you can have a feel of how an aircraft actually flies.
IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad
If you like WW2 plane games, then IL-2 Sturmovik is the gold standard. While it plays like a professional flight sim, IL-2 Sturmovik is also refreshingly approachable to newcomers, and its current incarnation does an excellent job of enticing you with its realistic graphics and damage modeling.
Small elements like water running over the canopy when flying through clouds or AI enemies flying toward the sun to confuse you go a long way toward making you feel like you’re actually in the cockpit of a WW2 fighter. It also has a devoted multiplayer community of dogfighters, so you’ll have no trouble finding a match.
Arma-3 Jets
Unlike most combat plane games, Arma 3 allows you to hop into the cockpit of a jet fighter and assist out on the battlefield by strafing heavy tanks and doing airstrikes. The flight physics and depth of mechanics aren’t up to par with some of the other challenging flying games on this list, but there’s still plenty of room for mastery.
Air-to-air warfare is mostly concerned with maintaining your position and employing a variety of missiles to attack targets from high above the battlefield. Air-to-ground aircraft also play an important role, with contemporary technology such as laser-guided missiles and anti-armor weapons making experienced pilots indispensable on the battlefield. There are also lots of helicopters if you get tired of flying.
Ace Combat 7
The plot of the game marks the series return to its usual Strangereal setting and follows the exploits of “Trigger,” a fighter pilot assigned to a penitentiary squadron after being accused of murder in the midst of a conflict between the countries of Osea and Erusea. Initially, you will start with an older aircraft and then moving on you will work with many modern fighter crafts, giving a real sense of progression throughout the game.
Tom Clancy H.A.W.X
Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. is a first-person shooter video game developed and released by Ubisoft Montreal. In November 2011, it was published for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. The game is set in the present day and follows Jack Harper, a former US Army Ranger turned mercenary pilot, as he confronts a global conspiracy. The game is a reboot of Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. series, which was created by Blue Byte and released by Ubisoft in 2006. Ubisoft redeveloped the game.
Project Wingman
Project Wingman is a combat aviation action game in which the player pilots a combat plane into battle and destroys enemy objectives, akin to the Ace Combat series. The user can select from a variety of planes inspired by real-world combat planes and equip them with specific armaments. The player has the option of playing in first or third person. The first-person perspective can be played with or without the cockpit view. Hands-on throttle-and-stick (HOTAS) and virtual reality (VR) are supported. The player can choose between two game modes: campaign and conquest. In a future Earth devastated by natural disasters, the mercenary pilot Monarch fights for the Cascadians in their war of independence against the Federation. Conquest offers rogue-lite and strategy gameplay, with the player facing opponent waves, managing resources, and conquering the map.

Are you serious? DCS (Dogital Combat Simulator) beats all of these games to the ground. It’s almost the real deal, minus classified specifics. You learn the jet from the manual and many hits-and-misses. It’s realistic as close as it can get, but requires a bit of commitment to learning an aircraft. But the results delivered is very satisfiable.
