The Leadership and Management Course conducted at the Junior Leaders Academy (JLA) in Bareilly concluded recently, showcasing a commitment to fostering leadership skills among the young cadre of India’s armed forces. Havildar Indresh Singh of the Army Air Defence was honored as the Overall Best Student, highlighting his exceptional performance throughout the program.
This session attracted Junior Leaders from the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and the Assam Rifles, emphasizing the importance of inter-service cooperation and collaborative leadership development. The course provided a platform for participants to engage with peers from different branches, reinforcing the idea that effective leadership transcends organizational boundaries.
Brigadier Gaurav Kapoor, the Commandant of JLA, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the critical role that Junior Leaders play in upholding the values, discipline, and professional standards of the Indian Army. He urged them to lead by example and set high standards in both training and conduct, essential for maintaining a robust and prepared force for future challenges.
