Great Coco Islands, Myanmar
China has been developing a facility and certainly an airbase in the Coco Islands situated in Myanmar’s territory and very near to India’s Andaman and Nicobar Islands, approximately 50 km. China has developed a 2,300-meter runway and radar stations on the islands.

Kyaukpyu, Myanmar
China has ably given access to a commercial facility by Myanmar, the Kyaukpyu facility to be specific. This is very much closer to India and gives a pace to China in developing its military facility.
Chittagong Port in Bangladesh
China has been lobbying Bangladesh to allow it to build a naval base near Chittagong, providing it with direct access to the Bay of Bengal.
Sri Lanka’s Hambantota Port
Sri Lanka’s Hambantota port in southern India has been leased to China for 99 years, and China has berthed its ship Yuan Wang-5 there. China said it was a research and survey vessel, but experts believe it was there to spy on India.

The Maldives
China has made significant investments in the adjacent Maldives in order to establish control. It has also supported an opposition leader there. According to reports, the Maldives already owes China $1.4 billion.

S-400 Missile System
India has deployed the S-400 Missile System in Pathankot or nearby where it can counter any missile threat from China in the region of Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Ladakh. The Indian Air Force has also deployed the S-400 Missile system near the Chicken’s Neck area to prevent adversaries in the northeast region.

Nyoma Airbase in Ladakh
India has also developed and is upgrading the Nyoma Airbase in the eastern Ladakh region. through this region, India can call a close play of fighter jets on China which is as close s 50 km from the Indian Border.

Indian Arms at the LAC
India’s Akash missile system has been deployed in the direction of China. The army has used medium-range artillery weapons, long-range rockets, 75 Ultra Light Howitzer M-777, K-9 Vajra Tracked Self-Propelled Howitzers, Pinaka rocket systems, and Dhanush gun systems. To hit high-value targets across the LAC, the Indian Army is acquiring anti-drone equipment, rough terrain vehicles, and loitering munitions.
Elite Garud Commandos
India has deployed its Garud Special Forces of the Indian Air Force near the Ladakh-Arunachal Pradesh border. They are India’s one of the commandos, armed with cutting-edge technology. They’ve been sent in to carry out “specialist operations.”
