At the age of 36, Singh was originally from Agar village in the Dashjula Patti area of Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand. He was fulfilling his duties under challenging operational conditions when the cardiac arrest occurred. Singh leaves behind his wife, a son, and a daughter.
